What do Operating Rooms of hospitals and semiconductor fabs have in common?
There are many correct answers to this question. One is the way we dress to remove all contaminants from the subjects we are working on; the patient or the semiconductors. Another one is lasers. At Modulight’s semiconductor laser fab, we process the diode lasers that we build into our medical laser systems. This gives us full control to the production chain.
