Responsible person of Tian Chen Chemical’s Xupeng Shao Skilled Studio, Xupeng, said: “I have been working in this workshop since 2009. I am very familiar with the sound of equipment operation in the workshop. Our laser cutting machine has been in operation every day, almost without a break. Listening to the sound and identifying the equipment can easily determine which process is being carried out.”
Xupeng said that the introduction of laser equipment has brought unexpected benefits to product optimization and new product development.
“Previously, some production and manufacturing processes that we designed could not be achieved. Now we can do it ourselves. With the help of the imported laser equipment, we have applied for 10 patents in 2021 and 6 patents in 2022, a total of 16 patents so far.”
For 14 years, Xupeng Shao has been serving in the workshop front line. When asked about the manufacturing of pressure vessels involved, he spoke at length.
“From cutting, rolling, assembly, welding, to X-ray detection, ultrasonic testing, heat treatment, pressure testing, painting, the production of pressure vessels requires multiple rigorous processes. In the past, we had to rely on manual cutting, and the cutting process alone may require more than ten people. But now with laser equipment, one person is enough.”
A pressure vessel is a device mainly used for storing and transporting gases, liquids, or solids for use in industries such as chemical, energy, and pharmaceutical manufacturing. They are designed to withstand high internal pressure while maintaining the integrity of their structure. Therefore, the design and manufacture of pressure vessels must comply with relevant safety standards and specifications strictly.
“The chemical industry is tightly regulated. Manual material cutting has low precision, which requires a lot of work in the polishing process, uses up labor, auxiliary materials, and time. With laser cutting for material cutting, efficiency and precision have been greatly improved, and the efficiency has been significantly improved. The cost of production has been reduced. In addition to paying attention to the performance of equipment, we also pay close attention to the after-sales service strength of enterprises and the user reputation of brands.”
Besides, master Shao points out automatic production is the compulsory in the revolution of chemical equipment industry.
“One of the biggest difficulties for an enterprise is poor employment. Therefore, automatic equipment can import flexible production lines to reduce tight employment effects.
