This family of fiber optic switches uniquely features an ultra-small footprint of of 4.6mm x 6.6mm x 10mm, which is the smallest on the market. They are based on Agiltron’s patented thermally activated micro-mirror, moving-in and -out optical paths. This advanced design offers high stability and high reliability without the charge-induced drift and moisture sensitivity associated with conventional electrostatic MEMS switches.
The Ultra-Mini Fiber Optic Switch unifies different switch configurations of 1×1, Dual 1×1, Quad 1×1, 1×2, Full2x2, Dual 1×2, and Dual Full 2×2 for both Single-mode and Multimode into the same package, providing the same PCB-direct-mountable footprint. Agiltron provides customized designs to meet specialized feature applications. Agiltron also offers modular assemblies that integrate other components to form a full function module or subsystem.
